About

In 2023 after a debilitating bout of insomnia, Janet was inspired to create a collection of paintings under the pseudonym ‘The Mansion Girls’ where she freely explored the darker side of femininity through an otherworldly and romantic lens. The Mansion Girls was featured in the winter 2024 issue of Hi- Fructose Magazine and issue 48 of Create! Magazine.

Janet lives in Kincardine, Ontario, Canada with her husband John, and their dog Atticus, who is more mysterious than any dog really should be. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, working on her dollhouse and creating things that serve no real purpose.
